IIM I - Amongst the top B Schools in India - one of the newest IIMs

Established by the Government of India with the support of the Government of Madhya Pradesh, Indian Institute of Management, Indore (IIMI) is the latest addition to the IIMs. The institute is located at Indore, which is a hub of industrial activity in central India.

Facilities

The new campus of the institute, with modern facilities, is located near the village of Rau on a hill, measuring about 195 acres of land.

Library

It is a fully electronic library with state-of-the-art technological applications. The fast growing collection includes around 15,000 books on management and allied subjects. The current subscription to periodicals includes 340 foreign journals and 80 Indian journals. Other collections include 160 training videos and 150 CDs.

Computing & Communication Facilities

IIMI has world class, campus wide state-of-the-art information technology tools that are designed to meet the computing and communication needs of the Institute. It has fast, reliable and rugged computer network of more than 700 nodes.

Post-Graduate Programme in Management (PGP)

The two-year PGP is full time residential course for graduate students from all disciplines wanting to choose a career in management.

Eligibility
Applicants should have at least a three-year bachelor degree or an equivalent qualification in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities/ AICTE as eligible for post- graduate studies in management.

Candidates appearing for the final year bachelor degree examination can also apply.

Placement
The fifth batch of the institute, which graduated in 2004, was received very well by the industry. Participants received multiple job offers. Among the accepted offers, average salary for the Indian postings was Rs. 6.65 lakhs per annum.
